The Fat Burner
This one is all about the Berries! They truly are your best friend, and to top it off, they taste great in a smoothie. The yoghurt also gives the smoothie that great texture everyone wants. The apple juice is just there, we don’t really know why, but it tastes good! Acai is the secret ingredient, though, as it provides all the usual benefits of berries, i.e. antioxidants and vitamins, but acai berries will give the smoothie a distinctive taste like no other.
Ingredients
1 x Handful of Strawberries, Raspberries and Blackberries
Berries are high in fibre, and a great source of antioxidants
1 x serving spoon of Greek Yoghurt
An excellent source of protein
300ml x Apple Juice
It’s tasty… that’s enough, right?
1 x sprinkle of Acai Berries (or powder)
A great source of antioxidants
Method
When making my smoothies, I use a Nutribullet, but any other blender will do the job just fine. When making a fat burner, I will always add the juice and yoghurt first, then add in the berries and Acai afterwards. Blend away and enjoy!
Top Tip:
Measure out your ingredients in your drinking glass first, then add to the blender. This will save on waste
